- Flame retardant filler for adhesives, sealants, coatings, polymer compositions, including elastomers (silicones, ethylene-propylene rubbers), thermoplastics (PVC plastic compounds, cross-linked polyethylene), thermoplastic elastomers (ethylene-vinyl acetate, thermoplastic polyurethane)
- Major component in the production of artificial onyx, acrylic and polyester stone using the Solid Surface molding technology, as well as other types of artificial stones
- Mordant when painting fabric and an additive increasing its water and fire resistance
